National Day songs are spinning in my head. I have them on my iPod's On-the-go playlist, and I hummed along to them on the train. I sing along this year's theme song with the maciks waving their hands behind me during the finale at the rehearsals. I channelled Kaira Gong and learned to emote like she did, an act that resembles one kissing her elbow during the chorus. I am getting quite sick of fireworks, they just don't seemed as exciting when there are hardly any spectators.

It's been a long, horrible week.
