i pulled a nerve on my left index finger whilst pulling the safety ring of a practice grenade. it's perpetually numb now.

and my cough scares the bejeezus out of passerbys, still.

anyhow. when i was 10, i read h.g well's the wars of the world - reduced version with illustrations for kids, and decided i was going to make a movie out of it. growing up i wondered why no big shot director was going to make the movie since it spelled 'summer blockbuster' all over. then i did my own posters for my version and drew shots of it. it was a modern day set in manhattan, london, shanghai, bombay and singapore. after that independence day flick came out the idea just went locked in my drawer. and in my childhood.

now it is really going to be a blockbuster summerzerofive. the new titanic with spielberg/cruise and that new haley joel osment.
