developing your own photos can be a blast. had dark room lesson today for my photography syllabus. taught by noneother than mr larry wong's wife mrs larry wong. who is, by the way, taller than he is. (am expecting lots of commotion on the dekap. now now. calm down.) and i'm surprised by how young she looks, thought she was some intern. alright the focus is on the lesson.

so anyway, it was pretty complicated cos there's alot of things you have to be careful about. plus you've got to do all these in the dark. which involve taking out the photo paper from the bag, adjusting the paper on the whateveryoucallthat. before you press some buttons and some dim light will turn on and turn off by some time limit. the longer the limit the darker will the photo be. after which you take the photo and place it in some chemical which i'm sure you have seen in drama serials. (ooh. by the way i highly recommend this film called 'one hour photo' which stars robin williams in the lead role. extremely powerful pyschological thriller that's real scary. and quite sad. it affirms my stand on robin williams being one of the greatest actor around. go grab the dvd now at your nearest video rental store!) after a rather tedious complicating process, viola! your first photo is done.

ooh, its rather comical how when they turn off the lights and i had to stand still for a minute till my sight is slowly regained from the dim orange light around. (there was only one pathetic orange light bulb in the room. the only light you can have in the dark room is orange. don't ask me why.) i have night blindness by the way.

earwax: that new john mayer song with a ridiculously absurd title is on repeat mode.
