No it's not.

Was channel-surfing and saw Daniel Powter's Bad Day video - I actually listen to it when I'm having one - and realised Anna from The O.C starred in it. Anna Stern, the one with the flaming red lipstick. She's played by Samaire Armstrong. (pronounced Sah-mee-rah, and all the while I thought it was Sher-mai-er.)


I heart Samaire Armstrong. (i still pronouced it in my mind as Sher-mai-er!) I'm still half way through Season 2 and the DVD is collecting dust because I have yet to find the desire to continue. Maybe because her character left for Tahiti at the end of Season 1 and didn't appear on Season 2. It is afterall, a chore to watch that Misha Barton act like a robot for another season. Well, Sher-mai-er's back on 3, so woo-hoo!

Anyway in other news, Fiona Xie the U-Zap girl was at Poetry du Blanc today, which caught everybody's surprise. I thought we all acted with a huge sense of nonchalance when she walked in. Like, woah, but oh, (ohmyguanyinma it's Fiona Xie! I must tell my friends!) Ok. Well, she did speed read two poems right out of her iBook.

Maybe she will be at the next session in May. (it's on the 2nd Saturday of each month.) And maybe I won't chicken out like today and read Aimee Mann's lyrics and think it's fine.
