On location.

On hiatus. Well, at least until I actually manage to find time to update anything, which by itself is a task as impossible as, say, me watching Jennifer Hudson wails her way to an Oscar in Dreamgirls any time soon. I do hope it's an off day on the Rachael Yamagata gig, which may be a case of 89 bucks going down the drain.

Meanwhile, I am the only assistant in the art department for 881, which consist of a grand total of 1 art director and 1 propsmaster. It's strange since this is such a big budget project. I was given an entire house to wallpaper on my first day which started two days ago, and I was only informed that I got the job the night before.

Shoot begins tomorrow, and will stretch through the entire month of March. I am truly excited, more so than I am for Pitch Black, which I am really worried for now that I am away. But I believe the team will manage well, and I couldn't ask for a better group of individuals who will be running the place this month.

I lost my mobile on my first day, too. After a frantic night of getting my important numbers using my mum's incredibly cheesy pigs-themed skinned Nokia, I thought my life was left hanging on a thread. My art director was kind enough to lend me his phone; and so now the entire art department are using Sony Ericssons.

I was never a user of this particular brand, its functions are seemingly foreign to a Motorola user like me. But I have to get used to it, like how I will eventually get used to this. It is easier when you know you've been wanting to do this for the longest time, and this is just the very beginning. But like I've always imagined, it's harder than it looks.

But at least I know I'm finally on the next page.

Oh yes. Katong Fugue is in for the final judging of this year's Singapore International Film Festival! I am fucken elated!

*PS// I've retrieved a new simcard for my mobile, which is still the same number, but I've lost everyone else's, so please text me with your name and say hi.
