blog pah-ti aftermath.
I had my virginal DJing experience at Cafe Cosmo yesternight, albeit it was three songs (Rufus Wainwright's Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk, Broken Social Scene's Hotel and Belle & Sebastian's Another Sunny Day.) on my iPod, and there was no scratching whatsoever. And I think alot of people cut my line! :( But still, it was fun.
The music was great, the jit-dui-langlanglanglang and other hokkien songs were actually quite nice (oh admit it!), which kinda made the very cosy place looked like some sleazy karaoke parlours at Serangoon Gardens for awhile. We were sitting by the roadside, waving at driverbys who seemed perturbed, more than anything else, and only like what, 3 drivers waved back. Friendly Singaporeans sia.
Of course, photos and more photos. (my Flickr set here. )There was the Poor Thing Look which they said I failed to muster - I always thought I was excellent at it, judging from the always successful chao-keng schemes I exercised in camp.
The Asian Cutie poses by dfe, which ohmygod - don't even get me started. And the animated emoticons. Once One Little Twit post the very funny video up on youtube (*evil laughter to the Emoticons.), you will laugh until you die ah.
*edit - The Video is Here!!
Fun people, too. I had fun.

i have to impose stricter rules about queue-cutting and THREE SONGS MAXIMUM so people can have faster repeat turns if we ever do this again.
