watched far from heaven with chris and rs. julianne moore is one fine actress. and one of my fave too. gawd. if i were her character i might just stoned for the rest of my life with all these dramas. anyway the movie was rad. very retro. it's set in the 50s and everything about the movie is very 50s. the opening was like some old hollywood film. the music too. uper dramatic orchestration for climatic scenes. like when julianne moore's character katherine caught her husband dennis quaid kissing his lover who is a guy. and katherine is just too kind for this mad world. she tried to change her husband's sexuality but failed. then the whole town talked about her being kind to her black male gardener. and then she fell in love with him after she finally decided to divorce dennis quaid. but they cannot be together after the male gardener had to leave town.
definitely one of the best movie i've watched this year.
